Like every typical Sunday, I was with my indoor and outdoor plants. Watering, pruning, removing dried leaves, giving them baths, etc. are a few of those activities which I prefer to do on Sundays.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>“Giving them a bath” might sound a little weird to some of you but trust me every once in a while you should give a good bath to your plants during summer, especially the ones which are indoors. While giving them a bath, I can feel what they must be feeling. Spending time with plants is one of my favorite activities among others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \n Like every other Sunday, I was busy with my indoor plants on my balcony. It was cloudy today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>I was with one of my favorite plants on my balcony – star jasmine. Although I do not know much about this plant, I like it because of 2 reasons: 1. the ambrosial fragrance of its flowers\u00a0 <\/span>2. It reminds me of the summer of my childhood. We used to have a big jasmine plant spread all in the courtyard of my parental house in my village. During its blossom period, the entire area of my house will be filled with its divine scent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \n Coming back to the present, She has blossomed at her best. Her branches have leaned down because of so many new leaves and flowers. She spreads a beautiful aroma around. Whenever we open the balcony window, our living room is full of her ambrosial scent. I was plucking those dried leaves and flowers hanging on her branches. Something strike me to think about – she was trying to convey a very beautiful message.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \n While plucking one of her dried flowers I noticed the small part of the stem which was responsible for providing water, food, minerals, etc. was dried and shredded too. The flower which, I think was the most beautiful part of hers, has dried and she has gotten rid of it and moved on. She has just let it go beautifully.<\/p>\n \n “Let it go” very simple yet very powerful message, it was. In our lives, we have collected so many dried leaves and flowers. We keep on collecting and carrying so much baggage and try to spend so much of our energy and time on those dried leaves.\u00a0 <\/span>As a matter of fact, we know, that no matter how much time and energy we spend, those dried leaves are never going to be alive again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Like every typical Sunday, I was with my indoor and outdoor plants.
